Zetec starter with a raceline sump.

Firstly, apologies about this being another zetec conversion question! But I'm struggling to find a definitive answer.

Basically I have a 1800 blacktop zetec attached to a type9,with a raceline sump. I have a high torque pinto starter that I was going to fit but it would need spacing forward 14mm and in doing so would hit the wing of the sump. So presumably I need an LRS707 starter, but my concern is the length and with of the starter not fitting in the space available.
Loads of people must have this combination fitted to their cars so I was after a definative yes/no answer on what to use!

Any help massively appreciated as im sat here scratching my head!
Mark.

I've got:

2.0 Zetec
Raceline sump
Pinto (lightened) flywheel (115 teeth?)
Pinto starter (standard, but no idea of the model number)

Something I can measure?

Check out some relevant threads on here. I had similar starter problem some weeks back. Simplest solution - buy smaller, lighter starter! Here is a pic showing the difference between the two starters.

Work-in-Progress: Changed to Zetec + T9. Still trying!!
