Strange engine choice too, never seen that used in a '7' before.

I was thinking the same, I love a straight 6 but why go for the 2 litre as surely the 2.5 is the same size for fitting in and has more kick?

Look like MK wishbones too. But - looking at the chassis that visible above the peddle box area, it doesn't look like an Indy to me.
However, let's not get too bogged down on the red tape stuff (though also don't buy it!) - that a lot of engine in there - I wonder if
that could be done to a genuine Indy...

Exactly, and it's iron blocked unlike the later M52 4 valve units, which would go in the same space pretty much too. Oh and the most powerful
2.0 was only 127bhp, so 150bhp is wishful thinking.

I'm still not convinced it's not actually a Dutton chassis underneath that's been modified to take Indy bodywork and wishbones.
I agree though, seems a lot of work to get a result that could have been easier.

It doesn't really matter if it's a MK using Dutton ID or Dutton frame modified to take MK parts. Either is illegal and would need IVA and
new registration.

Then all the MX5/MR2 ect, body conversions need an IVA?

I don't think that's true. I think if it really was a Dutton chassis, then it, as far as I can remember from the rules, is allowed to put
different engine and body around it.
However, it must be an infinitesimally small chance of actually being a dutton chassis. My guess is that dvla would be very interested.

There's no way its a dutton chassis and this is the forth one from the same area of the country.
