Stock Zetec transplant with ford ecu

Hi all,
I intend to put a stock Zetec, loom and ecu in my Striker. Im buying a single donor mondeo so that everything matches. Any advice on what not to throw away would be appreciated.

I think I need to keep;
ignition barrel and key,
engine loom
Engine (ha ha!)

Any tips on what models to avoid? ie No autos, No cruise control anything else?

Cheers guys!

Don't forget the pats reader that's round the ignition barrel and the obd socket. You don't really need the ignition barrel just the chip that's inside the key. That's the bit the ring aerial reads and matches to the ecu.

Make sure its a manual one and not an automatic.

Lot of the wiring goes through the bulkhead to the engine and a few bits go along the inside to the dash, ignition etc.

See if you can get it all out to save on head scratching later on.

Good luck, keep us posted!
