Switches - where to find these?

Hi guys,

I've got these switches on my car, but have no headlight switch.
I'd quite like to keep them but can't find the same switches anywhere, thought I'd give a little challenge for the lcb crew, 100 points to the winner!

Thanks in advance
Andy

they look like escort MKIII switches, but the headlights would be on the 'stalk'

Got me stumped, can't wait to find where they are from. I thought they had a very Austin Mini look to them

Just seen loggy's post - nice find

Cheers guys, yeh looks like leggy' got the closest but the icons either seem wrong, or it's not a 3 position switch.
Interestingly my front fog switch is a 3 position switch, but has a fog symbol instead of the correct headlight symbols.
Maybe i need to try and just change the symbol on the existing?

As a second thought, would it be ok for IVA to use a generic light symbol on the switch and then have tell tale separately for sidelights and dipped beam?

Yeh i found them, although from the symbols i really don't understand how they would work or be suitable for IVA.
These also look very similar:

Just trying to understand for IVA what symbols/telltales i need on the switches/dash?

the iva manual has a list of the symbols, in section 33 'identification of controls'
also its quite common to use the instrument lighting as an indication of side lights.

Don't worry to much - they just need to be clear. The pictures and colours are just for guidance when it comes to switches/warnings.

But i'm assuming if my "headlight" switch has a picture of a front fog light, that's probably a no no?
However if i've got a picture of a generic lightbulb on the switch and have the relevant tell tales then that would be ok?

And do i specifically have to have and seperate switch for sidelights or could i just have dipped beam and main beam?

These look like similar switches:

VWP

If they are the right ones then you could get just the coloured lens for £1 (although they'll sting you for P&P).

Cheers David, that looks pretty good! Not sure that my switch actually has a removable lens looking at it but sure i could bodge something together!

I pulled the lens out of one of my switches using a piece of gaffer tape - the black super-sticky stuff - by tearing off a strip, putting it on the lens and tugging at the ends.

Cheers for the help guys, ended up ordering from vehicle working products, only 12 quid for 2 tiny bloody bits of plastic lol!
Mine wouldn't come out with tape, had to take the switch apart but wasn't too tricky....
