Which wipers?
Hi guys,
Just in the process of putting a full windscreen on my striker.
What are people using for wipers nowadays?
I know classic mini used to be the one to choose but struggling to find these.
Any other modern alternatives that people have used that won’t break the bank?
Thanks
Andy

about 105/110 deg worked well

I have the Austin Mini system with Austin Mini Wiper arms and I bought the wiper blades direct from Caterham - about £10 each.

I haven't fitted a windscreen or wipers to a kit car (I fitted a small aero-screen on my MK Indy). However, if I did I think I'd be
looking at modern tin top rear wipers. They're generally short bladed and te motors/mechanisms are pretty compact to fit within the tin tops
tailgate. This may limit the setup to a single wiper, but if it's well placed and setup it should still be effective.

I had those rigid wipers on the JBA Falcon, despite having a completely flat windscreen were just awful and changed to the conventional spring type
from CBS and they still have a whole rake of tiny wiper types and arms. I used the ones highlighted which worked fantastic.

Thanks all, much appreciated.
Having had another look online not sure what I was doing as looks like there’s plenty of classic mini wiper arms/gears etc all over eBay
Not sure I like the idea of single wiper, so think I’ll go this route and see how we go!
Thanks
Andy
