Based on how it's looking with my +4, I reckon you'd have very narrow footwells (i.e. too narrow), no room for any kind of engine bay
brace (tube R - which makes a huge difference to chassis stiffness, very important for the relatively heavy V8), and it would further complicate
routing the steering column, which is a bit of a job in the first place with all the manifolds in the way.
I know it has been done though, so hopefully someone will have some more positive input.

I have a book chassis and a Rover V8 in the garden. I can't see how it could possibly be made to fit. I'm sure someone could but to me it
looks too wide, too high and too long.

What sort of fertiliser do you recommend to raise them?

Hi all First post so go easy.
I have been watching the forum for some time finally have somthing to say so here we go.
I am unsure on the RV8 ( Rover v8 ) will fit in "The Book " chassis but I can confirm we have got one into a MNR vortex had to move some
of the Bars to maintain structural integrity. these have been moved to also pick up the engine mounts.
The engine should be going back in tomorow so will post some pictures with it in situe if anyone is intrested.
Regarding the engine the main mod's are the requirement of remote oil filter and cooler.
Steering is going to be intresting but not imposible.
Oh PS before I go should mention I am 6'6" tall 38 inside leg size 13 feet and can fit in the vortex inc the revised tunnel layout and
operate all pedals individually unlike some of the other kits I have tried.
Kind regards

John Innes no.3, but you have to keep on top of them or they grow fast, get wild and need thinning out a bit so they dont get under your feet. Keep
them well watered or they get hot in the summer. They need big irrigation pipes as well down both sides

How do they fit in a Westfield then, cos the engine bay area of the SEiW chassis is dimensionally very close to the book chassis from what Ive seen
