Hi guys
Now that the photos are back on, I've just spent a very enjoyable hour browsing through the lot. They are excellent, and I take my hat off to you all - THAT'S what I call kitcar building. Well done.

Pete,

In case you're interested, I've just uploaded a few more pics - modifying nosecone (adding 4" to width), and building scuttle plug.

Both unfinished, but hopefully over next week or so, they'll be done.

Hi Simon, had a look through your pics. I noticed that the balljoint adaptor is adjusted so that theballjoint is not concentric with the original strut. Any reason for that?

John,

First point I should make is that there aren't any pinch bolts in uprights at moment - no reason other than I can't find them - so they aren't "set", so to speak!

Anyway, the theory is that it allows castor angle to be adjusted, by rotating adaptor so balljoint is at it's furthest forward will increase castor, then unwinding balljoint to restore camber.

That's the theory, at least!!

Hope it helps

Just had a good look at your piccies. They are very good - and I can FEEL the cold up there!! Don't blame you for closing for the winter. The other day I pulled my rolling chassis out, drilled four more holes in the floor for the seats, got a blast of "lazy" wind, thought "sod this" and put it all away again.

Before I get a slapping I'd better add that the mid-summer is my "push it back inside and forget it" time.....

Now, two homes that would work...

But, if you could afford that.........
