Why won't it work

I've downloaded some of the dxf zipped files from lusomotors.com as mentioned in previous threads. However autocad 14 will not open them. When i extract them it all happens to quickly i.e. the progress bar just disappears off of the screen and an extracted file is shown. Autocad then says it can't find the specified file. Can anyone help please.

They may not be R14 compatible - or they may be corrupt. U2U me if you want me to try opening them in a newer version of ACAD

They are dxf format and should be able to veiw on R14 I think the problem is in the download and extraction of the files. If you have time perhaps you could try it. The site is www.lusomotors.com and the files/utils section lists cortina uprights balljoints etc in zipped form.
As an afterthought perhaps my Norton AV is the problem.
Thanks Gary
