And so it begins
After researching the Tinter-thingy for about a month and visiting Robin Hood and MK. I am ready to begin my project.
Big thankyou to all the guys down at MK this Sat for taking me out in their cars and to Charlie for being an excellent host.
I have decided that I am going to build a MK Indy with a bike engine
I have been digging holes in my garden all week and my carport is about ready to begin. I have just purchased a 1.6 Sierra to use as my donor car and
let the fun commence...

I'm in exactly the same situation as you but I should be picking my kit up next saturday.
I decided to go for a tasteful combo of black and orange. Black for the mudguards and sides orange for everything else.
The test drive is their secret weapon without a doubt. I was reasonably sure I wanted one till I took it out for a drive. Then I knew I did.
The only thing I'm wondering at the moment is will a transit be large enough.
Time to give them a call I suppose.

I used a transit sized Merc van (207???) to collect my ZR, it was plenty big enough. Just check the length of the chassis and make sure that will fit
in (might have to go on its side at an angle). Everything else will fit round it.

I managed to get mine in a transit ok,i think it was 10ft8" front to back and i didnt use all the space.
Just make sure you take some straps and some old blankets to stop the fibreglass and steel having a party on the way home
Oh and good choice andrew

Conrod, Bob and I got one into an old people carrier ambulance thingy a couple of years ago. 50MPH top speed all the way to Rotherham and back!
Gorgeous!
Was worth it to put a few extra miles on my roll-bar atleast.
Cheers,
James

P.S. What's Bellfields really like? That's where Mrs Ned used to live isn't it?
Looked at a place at the nice end (ish! ) of Cedar way on Sat'.
Nice house- pity about the area was our general conclusion!

bellfields - stay away imho
ditto for park barn.
burpham/merrow is nice but pricey, worplesdon/westborough/onslow village is ok, but it pays to be picky!
Ned.

Burpham and Worplesdon
You're making these names up, right?
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

No, 'fraid not.
Unfortunately for £170K you only get a 1 bedroom, a sitting room and a kitchen 'house' in Burpham. Doubt Worplesdon's much
better!

worth checking with the local developers james, they're having trouble shifting new builds at the moment and have been offering lots of
incentives like free solictors fees, stamp duty paid, deposit paid etc etc
Ned.
