Looking for a written off bike

...or more specifically the engine itself. Where would you generally look ? back of bike trader and ebay ? maybe Hyabusa owners website ?

What do they normally go for ? say R1 or Hyabusa for eg.

Thanks

James

the fazer is a sort of half-faired bike thats has a more upright riding position. but with 141bhp it still goes like the clappers!

I have written off 4 bikes today, none over 125cc, but I did do a CBR600 yesterday.

Best job today was a 32 tonne 12 wheel dry bulker that had driven off a cliff in a quarry.

Beats being in a bodyshop any day!

with the cost of jap bike parts - especially the fairings for the 'plastic fantastics' - isnt it pretty easy to write off a modern day bike?

Deep Frame Scratch is an instant write off in my experience...

Cant be repaired to the same strength, so new frame required, including labout to fit.. write off...

Fazer thou is a great bike, sold mine last month to fund my kit...

Think of it as a smoothed out R1...
