A series help required!
I have a Mini priject on the go at work and i would like to find out how to ID the engine that is instelled in it at present.
I have an engine number of 12HD24 114651
and an engine casting number of WFM1024
Any help or Links would be appreciated

12HD24 is a 1989 vintage 1275 Sport/MG Metro (so A+ block)
CR 10.5 : 1
Manual transmission
Sounds like a reasonable base for a tuned mini.

Unless it has been changed it will need leaded fuel - the unleaded heads were fitted to engine numbers starting with 12HE onwards as far as I
remember.
