Whatever happened to this project. Looks quite nice apart from the arse end.

It was canned at about the time that the VX220 was launched due to lack of money. Similar projects have been promised since that could be described
as a "big elise". Lotus will make a midsized 2 seater as soon as they get enough cash together.

My mate had a deposit down on one - he was gutted when they canned it.
I remember it originally being called the M3? But I believe BMW got all shirty - so they changed it to the M250.
They seemed pretty keen - they sent propspectus's out and everything..
I like it - Elise on steroids - although to be fair the Noble M12 has capitalised on Lotus's slowness - although the Noble is a bit more pricey
than the circa £30,000 that Lotus hinted at.
