Free Insurance!
Yvonne has just bought a car off ebay and we are off to pick it up today. As we haven't got rid of the Daewoo yet we need to insure the new car
for a short while.
Ebay sent us an email with a link to a Norwich Union Direct scheme which offers you 7 days free comprehensive insurance on any car bought off ebay.
The only qualification is that you allow them to give you a quote for the rest of the year.
Yvonne was on the phone to them for 10 minutes and now we're covered. No hassle and we're off to collect the car!
So getting those donors home seems less problematic now!
Hope that helps someone out.

Does that offer remain for ANY car bought on ebay? Even if it's a £150 doner?
I also suspect you need to be over 21 to qualify, no?

On a related note, you can get fully comp insurance by the day online from Norwich Union. Any car up to gp17 is £10.50 each day for the first 2 days,
then £4.20 a day. Gp18-20 is double that. Useful for donors, mates' cars etc.

Cheers,
Matt.
