Who's been at it longest?

Is seven years a long time to build a chassis? Big thanks to my ever patient Dad who has worked outside for the last seven years after my chassis took up resisdence in his garage, and he's never moaned once!

Seven years! My old man would've killed me. Good to know you've done it yourself though. Looks good.

Mine took seven years, it's simply not possible to do it properly, any quicker than that.

Cheers

Mines taken just over two years to date, and I've got to the point in my avatar. But it certainly feels like seven years. Despite how it looks, there is still a way to go. Drove it down the close a couple of times today, and found that the brakes are sh**e. Mind you it goes like stink, the stopping is the problem.

I first decided I wanted to build one nearly ten years ago and only
started Sept 2005 with the stripping of the donors (plural, Sierra & Cortina).
I started the actual build in Feb this year when I started the chassis and am still at it.

I know a guy who's managed most of the the basic chassis with no extras.
Wishbones and trailing arms.

All in a grand total of 9 years!
