What and where from?
Hi,
Im looking to purchase these things, cable clevis's or what ever their real name is...........
cable clevis
I dont want to buy them from Mk and i will need more than any friendly AA/RAC man is going to let me have!
Its for something at work and i could do with knowing what they are called or even better where to buy them from probably in the 100's

i am looking for a clevis fasterner similar to the ones shown in the pic above. the ones from rally design all have threaded fixings. I am looking for
one that i can clamp onto cable. or is the one in the pic a threaded one that has been drilled and tapped the accept the bolts in the side?

the ones in the piccy are not threaded and im sure thats how they come - with the 2 grub screws.
The only ones i could find on rally design were threaded too

Look for suppliers of industrial wire ropes, who will probably carry fittings to suit, or know where to get them.

I would not rely on grub screws in that setup, unless it's a light load application, better to silver solder if possible, or have a crimped
joint.
