Movie about a Locost!!
"The World's Fastest Indian"
Just watched it, and immediately after, I spent an hour in the garage tearing down shelving and hanging lighting in my build space.
What's so amazing about the movie, is that it's true!! He took a 40 year old bike, built in 1920, and made it go fast. _REALLY_ fast.
I'll let you find out just how fast.
I'm going to watch it every time I need to find a good reason to get into the garage.
Anyway, I highly reccommend you go see it!

Excellent film.
Saw it about two weeks back.
I think the speed record he set, still stands.

I saw it in the cinema a couple of months back - a fantastic film I thoroughly recommend seeing. Some of the facts were bent a little bit for
dramatisation but it's essentially true and an amazing story.

Yeah, the official times are all lower than the time he set in the movie, but there was an unofficial run where he went about 10 pegs _faster_ than in
the movie!! :O
Pretty crazy on a bike built in 1920!

The World's Fastest Indian - 30 Dec 2008, 17:00 on BBC Two
quote: Biopic of New Zealander Burt Munro, who dedicated his life to building a vintage Indian motorcycle
which he would later use to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds and set the fastest speed
on two wheels on Utah's salt flats.
