Hub tubes on Whitehall Road used to do it through the back door, but i think they closed or maybe moved to York. Contact john Beardmore he's local, and used seamless on his Minor. Or maybe MNR might help ?

cheers for the pointer chaps. Mk wheeler have merged with a dutch company and the webshite is in gobbldegook, hub tubes are not to be found anywhere online, but the metal supermarket is going to ring me back with a price. Ive tried westyorkshiresteel, who dont do tubes, and a place in bradford who only do 4mm walls and up. Place in bolton want to sell me 24metres, which is a start at least, at £6 per metre. Sound right for 19mm 16g?

Any more suggestions?

They certainly do, and Joel could drop me that prop off on the way. There's a steel stockholders on Cutler Heights Lane, Bradford as well, but I can't remember their name, could be Barretts?

How about using seamed tubes? Most of the advantages of seamless tubing will go up in smoke the moment you put a welder to it. If you use a larger section of seamed pipe, like 25 mm, it will properly take higher loads than a 19mm seamless. As I don't have the British standards I can't check it myself.

i would do just that mate, but the seam inside it makes it hard to fit the inserts!
