Cleaning fabric seats
So, I've bought a set of seats that are totally impractical for this type of car and have so far been a nightmare to fit. Oh, and were also
quite expensive.
To keep them nice I've kept them mostly inside the house.
How pleased I am to discover that one of the cat's has pissed in one of them!
Any ideas on a good cleaning product to sort it out? The smell is quite over-powering!
Cheers,
James

I second the pressure-washer idea, works well unless the fabric is old and worn

James,
You could always pressure washer the cat!! It'll make you feel better if nothing else!!

Any proprietary upholstery cleaner and then spray with 'Oust' or 'Fabreeze' to kill any residual odour.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

yea seriously i would just wet the seat and put my wet and dry vac hoover on them, if you aint got one the take the seats to ya local jet wash place
most of the 'arc' 'imo' jet washes round here have a hoover for 60p a shot and the can take water!
now is that locost enough for ya??

Locost option is to p*ss on the other seat so they smell the same... then its well ballanced

But if you pi$$ in the other seat you'll need to eat cat food for a week to get the right smell. Other wise you'll have two different
smells of pi$$

Is that your aftershave, Eau de cat wazz?
I bought some mousse stuff in an aerosol which cleans and deodorised fabric upholstery from the local £1 shop and was surprised how well it works.
Spray it on and then let it froth up, scrub it in with a nailbrush and leave it to dry then hoover it. It worked on dog accident on carpet and on van
seats.
edit :- Simoniz Dri-Clean. get down the pound shop and clear them out.

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
