SR20DET install update
Hven't been working on it much lately as I've been doing up the house, but a couple of members have asked for a photo update, so here it
is.
Plumbing is almost done, wiring is 2/3rds done, and the rear arch extensions are coming on nicely.....

that will be MAD when sorted! ive had 2 pulsar gti-r's and although the engines are slightly different they were quick as fcuk! especially the
last one i onwed where i rebuilt the engine with forged internals and lots of hks stuff, etc. Was running 330-350bhp and went like poo off a shovel!
and that was in the 1150kg car!!!
Keep up the good work! would be good to see/get a passenger ride in once its done!

It's got an Apexi electronic boost controller and Apexi programmable ECU, so should be running up to 16psi - around 280ish bhp - when done,
though I'll be able to cut that down to around 210bhp at the push of a button, which will be handy when it rains!
Can't see me working on it again till September/October though, I've still loads to do to get the house sorted first.
And yes, between Hicost and I we have shares in Samco
Pulsars - awesome bit of kit....bet you had fun with those...

yep had lots of fun with the pulsar, especially the last one with quick lump in it. The guy i sold it to is doing what i needed to do to finnish it
off atm, apexi power fc ecu, boost controller and bigger turbo, it should be around 400bhp mark now!
It was great fun for straight line stuff, especially when against new m3's porshes etc! yours will be mad!

looking good mate, i take it with that ecu you don't have to worry about the nats or nats2 std imobaliser, im currently trying to put one in a
luego which is tight as... well its tight.
yours looks well on its way, what intercooler is that,

Yup - that's one of the reasons I got the Apexi ECU - as I didn't get the original Nats unit and you cannot just replace it with one from
another car.
I saw the SR" in an MK, and yes, it was tight, but it did fit
Intercooler is from a Pulsar, v. cheap from the chaps on the Pulsar forum, £30 delivered.... then had one end chopped and re-welded the right way
around .... fits a treat.

Ace, i thought it was a pulsar one but not suer, now you say you had the inlet welded the other was round it makes more sence. i looked at the price
for that ecu and its not the cheepest so im gonna try my luck with the nats.

also, what rad are you using, have you fitted the tubular manifold for performance or is it tighter to the block.
