Autogauge gauges, acceptable?
I know they are cheap, so I'm guessing there are quality issues with them?
Anybody have first hand use of either the 270 or 360 degree 52mm oil temp/pressure or water temp gauges?
Diff styles below.
Considering I can get all 3 x 360 for sub £72 or all 3 x 270 for £56, all with electrical senders, worth it or should I shell out for SPA dual
LCD's?

I have the oil pressure and oil temp in the 360 degree version in your second picture.
They are OK, the temp one is fine, but I find the pressure one wobbles with vibration. At steady revs it can vibrate quite a bit, almost like there
is no damping in the needle?
But then I can only compare them to OE gauges installed in tin tops, having never used other aftermarket brands I can't compare them.

glad someone mentioned these as i'm looking at boost, water temp and oil pressure gauges for my cosworth and these are quite appealing both in
price and style. i'm looking at the stealth ones they do.
mark, do you know what the outter diameter of the bezel on the gauge is please?

thanks mark, had a bit of a panic then as i was looking at the 52mm gauges which led to a bit of a  when you said 72mm!

Both the ones I pictures are 52mm, which is 2 1/16"
The larger ones are 2 5/8"

I've got these ultra lite ones in the SX and they're quite nice. Best bit they light up blue

Jay: Auto Meter is a different kettle of fish to Auto Gauge though. At opposite ends of the price spectrum 
I've got an Auto Meter boost gauge on my LET, worth every penny, but they start at £45 for a mechanical oil pressure gauge which is just plain
silly.

Its a shame they dont do a fuel level or speedo as ive been looking at these for a while but want a complete matching set.

I could only find a speedo that had 0-300 KPH which is not much good for an English 7, have I missed it then?

Just been through the entire range on the website and no sign of a fuel level gauge, and only speedo's in kmh which is a shame.

I admit I did miss the speedometer but I looked again through the entire "performance" range and there were no fuel level gauges.
They do make a fuel gauge for "yacht" applications that would no doubt be suitable for a car, except it is available in only one style
which dosen't realy match any of the performance range. I think the original statment stands in this case (unless you are happy with a set of
brand new but unmatched instruments in your build).

I found the fuel gauge under the yacht section - not sure if the sender unit will work on a car tank unless there the same size ish, i think ill drop
them an email for some prices etc.

The sender Westfield supply is the VDO one designed for boats. The good thing is it is easily cut down for a shallow tank.
Nothing to do with the Autogauge ones though

I got a matching Autogauge set with fuel gauge and sender at the local "go fast" shop no problem. Poor pic here of dash mock up
