WHY

Why do spend hours doing the things we do.
Why does the simplist mistake take hours , days, maybe weeks to fatham out.
Why did i last year run nearly 1 mile for fuel and can , thinking my pride and joy , left defenceless in a dark ally had run out of fuel only to find that the ignition cut off key had fallen out.

Why then this weekend did i flatten my battery twice , scratch my head for 4 days trying to get my pinto and bike carbs started , post a question on this forum only to find out that i have put the carbs on upside down and connected the fuel pipe to the wrong pipe.

for this reason i would like to nominate myself DUNSE OF THE WEEK.

Cheers Tim.

I used to work in an office that had a Numpty of the Week award - a big gold trophy with the words engraved very large on the front - the lucky winner had to keep it on their desk until the following Friday, when the next Numpty candidates were put forward.

It should definately be a section on this site - we could run a poll every Friday to nominate the weeks winner.

Then from the weeks winners we could vote for the years Dunse/Numpty/Whatever winner possibly at Christmas time.
Not sure what the overall year winner will win......?

Roadrunner can't be nominated for the spelling mistake, as that pales into obscurity when compared to the carbs fiasco! (no offence Tim)
I, however, spelt it incorrectly too..............nevermind. It is ironic though!

I got this trophy for my 'enthusiastic' driving during my company indykart race. We had invited all our major customers along and I earned the trophy for nudging the chairman of STC into a pile of tyres on a bend - he eventually emerged clutching nothing but his steering wheel! Don't think there are too many of us on here that have not made a monumental f**k up of something or other, (with one or two excemptions, (at least they think they are)). So would be almost an impossability to award a nomination, that basicaly we all deserve. Ray

excemptions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Christ, why do people keep taking a poke at other peoples spelling, when they know exactly what is meant. I just wish that I was perfect, then I could do the same. Ray

The secret is to admit to the small mistakes and blame someone else for the major f*ck ups.

Remember the old adage:

"I didn't say it was your fault, I just said I was going to blame you"

I'm a dunce most day's, or at least the wife says so!

Yes, I think that all the spelling is correct! (Don't know about the grammar though, but that's a whole other ball game!)

Punctuation ain't so good - apostrophe abuse! ("day's" should "days" ).

But just ignore me, as I'm merely being cheeky...
