I use blackcircles.com, they were good when fixing my tintop, and include fitting in the price

Toyo Proxes R888 have very little tread cut into them. A dry weather only tyre I'd suggest.

Got my T1-s's from mytyres. Good service but no fitting, well priced though.having said that read the other thread, have added dome comments on
my experiences of the T1-s.

I've got Toto T1R's but not tried them yet. The R888's are £67 each on Camskill website. mmmm grippy.

If you're not after an R888 type tyre and want to spend circa £33 a corner, I'd go for Yoko A539s. Ran these and Toyo T1-S/T1-R on my old
MX-5 and found the A539s so much more progressive.
They're also what is used for the 750MC championship.

I went for the Yoko A539s for my first set of tyres. I'd suggest it prudent to not go for a really grippy set of tyres at first. Get used to the
car on something a bit more progressive - tyres with higher ultimate grip tend to let go more suddenly.
The 539s are a decent tyre and cheap too. I have used mytyres to order quite a lot of tyres - they take a few days to turn up as they are shipped from
germany but they say that anyway - never had any problems.

I've got Toyo T1R's...best tyre I've ever played with....lots of grip, good in the wet as well and relatively cheap. Love to know
how long they'll last though?! Done 500 miles on mine so far and still in good nick....Oli.
If your not living life on the edge you're taking up too much room!

My A048R's let go very progressively but that may be down to the size (185x65x14) - larger side wall than 15" and larger tyres a lot of
people use.
