My claim to fame!

I was in training in 77 & in '78 got the world record on m 1st attempt.

Unfortunately I wasn't invited to defend my title which was beaten in Japan the next year.

I was going to post it Jasper, but got side tracked....

I am glad you went to the auction and bought him , he is indeed a very special bear, you couldn't just 'not'!

.........are you going to leave him 'as is' or, restore him?.......

Oh, and you 'presented' your knowledge very well Jasper most impressed....

Hi Fozz, he's already been well restored, it look 7 cleans to get all the dirty out. He's now sat in our cabinet in our shop with an old sailor suit on and looks superb.

If you leave them 'as is' they just rot away cos they're so dirty.

Awwww, so glad to hear he is now looking his best again....

I understand that he 'had' to be restored, with his ear hanging off, and his nose looking a bit poorly, and his paw pads.... oh and the dirt....

But didn't he have the most gorgeous face? .....even in the state he was in....

Had a couple of steiff bears work for me a few years back, good workers at the start but then they wanted to move up in the company.
I think there the sort of white collar bear and I'm more the blue collar type!also such heavy german accents! very hard to understand.

Anyways each to their own

Is "cash in the attick" the one with that rough blond bint ? if so is she really that bad ?

A mate of mine who worked on one of her shows said she was a foul mouthed off camera.
