A mate had a V8 Stylus (very similar) and it drove beautifully, pulled in almost any gear....

I would say that was VERY cheap, I'd buy interested if I wasn't already building one

"Number plate from original donor vehicle (not a Q reg) "

Do you think he means its the same year plate ie X Reg? or the same registration number?

Were things done differently in this respect in '99 ?

I read that to mean he built in 99 but the donor car was an x reg, thats how it works isn't it?

Certainly seems a lot of car for the dosh, probably need a bit of TLC and work. I know little about them to b honest, can anyone point me in the direction of the websites to read up on, and where are Fisher in Kent?

and if it put out 200-250 bhp i'd be a very happy man to own that!

It's the torque that will impress you, more than the bhp, it will produce plenty enough for a car like that, and sound fantastic.

They'll have their own forum, have a hunt on Google.

Used to be in Kent, moved now I think.....

Their website says there's still an office in Kent.

Funny thing is the owner has it on PHeads for £5250, Fisher have it up for £6995! - now let me think, who should I contact...............

But why is it the cars I like are always about 180 miles away!

As far as I know Fisher in Kent is no more. The original Fisher Sportscars was in Marden - I went there a few times for K-Series bits as quite a few Furys have that engine - but it was taken over last year by the Kit Car Workshop in Northamptonshire.

Nice cars. Drove one around Ireland for a week. Of course it all depends upon the setup.... My one was seriously close to the floor, supersticky tyres and a breathed upon 1.7 Xflow.
Certainly the Fury chassis / tub is very light. Even a modest V8 is going to give it the required beans!
Not so sure on the colour!!! Perhaps Fisher are selling it after the respray

Fisher are currently in Rushden, under the name of or brought by The Kit Car Workshop. A mate of mine works there, so can get any details/questions/answers you might need.

It looks a nice example from the photos but I bet it will need some work doing to get it roadworthy.

Cars don't like to stand idle and these few miles in 7 years would worry be a bit.

Can't fault the price though.

I'm guessing it'll need tidying and some work, the interior is "functional" acccording to the owner, but it is running, body in very good condition and has a years MOT.

I just thought what a car for the money!

and thanks Jimgiblett for the links, looks like another late night for me!
