Motorsport clothing supplier - Who??

For xmas im after some motorsport gloves, balaclava, goggles etc etc. I know i can get these from DT but in true locost style would prefer to avoid the DT tax on them. Where else have you had mail order motorsport stuff from and great service?

Talking of gloves - what type would you recommend? Ive seen them priced from £30 to £70 but dont know what is a good road / track day glove. Id be narked if i ordered a pair and they had no grip etc.

Thanks in advance,
Darren.

got my gloves from Motoscope in Northallerton at least you get a chance to try them on before you buy them

You should be looking at Nomex gloves for fireproofing and suede palms for grip.

I got sparco and I really like them.

Goggles are available from Motorbike shops.

Cheers

Mark

Got all my biker gear (Viento with no Windscreen) from the Rejects shops at the BMF (Biker show) at Peterborough.

Leather biker gloves £5
two brand new Helmets ACU Gold stamp approval £30 each

Waterproof and breathable jackets one £40 the other (for the odd passenger) £20.
Balaclava was £3 (Thinsulate).

Most of the stuff was in good condition. It was a case of look it over carefully before buying.
Lady told me it was mostly Mail order returns that they could not now sell as new.

Cant fault it. All good value stuff and known makes as well.
