Builders/owners around the Derbyshire/Notts area?

I'm just starting the build (well assembly i suppose ) of my stuart taylor locost with a 5vy R1 engine, just wondering how many people there are round my way and if you ever have any meets etc, i wouldn't mind seeing a few more cars in the flesh.... cheers

There are a few builders/owners around that area and there is a monthly meeting on the 1st Wed of each month at the Young Vanish pub, Glapwell, 2 miles from J29 M1 on the A617, Chesterfield/Mansfield road, usually around 7:30 - 8ish.

Don't know if it's still on during the winter months though.

I'm not very active during the winter though Whereabouts are you, I'm in Clay Cross.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I'm in notts. Mines just at rolling chassis stage though, so not really much to see at the moment.

We're in Jacksdale, Notts.

MK at Langold on a Saturday morning, weather permitting, is usually a good place to see a few cars and owners. Obviously these will be mainly MK's.

I'm a bit further south near Hinckley, just finishing off a Stuart Taylor car with VX 16v, the odd run up chesterfield way will certainly be on the cars once SVA is sorted!

I've just come through Shirland on the way back from Aldi, bought a drill and lots of booze. Probably not the best combination
