Stainless steel offcuts...where to get?

A couple of months ago I ordered some offcuts of stainless 409 steel from a company..I think in B-Ham...

The company collected together offucts from industry and sold it on...

I need to order some more stuff from them but I cant for the life of me remeber the name of the company...does anyone have any idea what it might have been?

If not, where is the best place to get small quantities of 409 from?

Chears.

I when up to GBS (robin hood) today as they are having a auto jumble and sale, they had loads of stainless and alloy off cuts sheet and tube. it was quite amasing the amount of stuff they had for sale
they are open tomorrow 9 to 3ish it well worth a look.

Sounds like it would be ideal but its a bit too far to travel...

Might give them a ring and see if they would stick some in the post for me....

Could you not ask the local stockist? Or any local fabricators? They should have some stuff lying about spare.
