Welcome!

You'll attract a fair bit of attention if you successfully get BMW bits to fit... potentially the next common donor.

Have fun,
David

Welcome & good luck with the project - you'll find this place a mine of useful (& sometimes useless) information.

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Thanks

I'll try to take some interesting foto's when it get's a bit more intresting...
I've just finished the chassis and started stripping the donor...
The BMW318i(s) is very good for building a locost because it's a small engine with lots of potential and almost al the other parts are usefull (only the front wheel hubs are a bit strange)

I'm also building the rear suspension with one wishbone on each side atached to tube B1... this way the rear wheel hubs fit like a glove and there's room enough for the diff, boot and fuel tank...

So I can deffinatly recomend using a beemer
