Might have been mine. The advice I was given was not to use the Raceline unit as it cost a lot and did not work as well as the standard Ford
housing.
The Ford housing uses a two stage thermostat which allows fast warm up while retaining a flow of water around the head thus avoiding hot spots. I have
run the large housing out to the rad top, the smaller bypass hose below it to a tee in the bottom hose between the rad and water pump. The outlet on
the over side pointing towards the offside also goes to a tee on the bottom hose. You will also need to join your expansion tank to the bottom hose or
a hose going to the bottom hose, and use a cap that will rated at 15PSI or you get coolant blow back. I run a VW Polo rad and electric fan and the
engine runs at 94-98 deg C which is spot on. Sitting in traffic or on rolling road no probs so far.
