There's one there called a 'ROTUS' from the USA , I would have thought that a 'ROTUS' would have come from JAPAN.

Can't tell if you're joking or not . . .
ROTUS was derived from the words ROtary loTUS (it's powered by RX-7 engine). If you already knew that, . . . nevermind.
Other than the engine, it's a copy of - hard to believe on the Lotus 7 page - a Lotus 7.
If this is all news, wait 'til you hear the rest: They also offered a wider version that uses a Rover/Buick aluminum V8 called the ROTUS 8
(even I can't defend that one).
