rivets
here is one for you all then when buying a new kit
a, does it come with sealed rivets
b, if not how many does a kit take ish
c, cos there is a man on ebay doing a deal on them

a. no, not in the mk kit. you get some non sealed ones, but not enough to do the full floor never mind the whole car.
b. you'll use various sizes for various jobs, and varying amounts dependent on spacing. i think i have around 200 in my floor and about 100 in
the rear bulkhead.
c. ok

They gave me a massive bag of assorted rivets with my kit, I've got about 130 in the floor and there's still plenty of that size left
over. Not sealed ones though.

i guess that's testament to the repeatability of the kits. i got about 70 non sealed 5mm standard head rivets and that was my lot.
