Spotted, Hardwick Hall
Saw this tidy Locost (pretending to be a Lotus?) at Hardwick Hall on saturday, lots of people admiring it.

Hardwick hall ?
You should have called in for a tyre kick, I'm a stones throw away, Petes a couple of stone throws and Bryn of allyfab too.
BTW will be posting some pics of Bryns locost soon in the for sale section, very nice red top VX powered locost. his pc's done a runner n the
cars got to make way for his current build.

It belongs to Roland Lumby in Doncaster. It's the first car we built and has been on the road about 6 years.
Unfortunately it now has 'issues'.
On the way back from Hardwick, pulling out of some services, a woman drove into the back of the poor thing!
Now needs new rear wings and a little panel beating on the ally.
Scary thing was her car finished 3" from the back of Roland's neck! Good thing the roll bar was there!
Oh well, he put good money on me being the first to bend their car!

It was me! spent the day wandering round Hardwick hall, with the wife
As Marcus said I had a slight problem on the way back to Doncaster. The person who ran into me has destroy the rear off side wing, it's going to
cost her insurance a fair bit to put right.
neither of us were injured
ps it's not pretending to be a Lotus, it's paying homage to the Lotus.

Did it cope with the speed bumps there? I was very tentative when I went over them in mine but I cleared them.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Glad you were both ok. we had a nice time there, excellent weather, but in a tin top did you go to the mill as well? the machinery is interesting.
About 20 HP at 1 rpm! geared up through a ring gear.

Sorry to hear about that mate, glad you're ok.
How's the dog bowl?
cheers

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!
