hey clever people - what do you know about early dax v8 rush?

like the title says, what can you tell me about early DAX V8 Rush (1994), good and especially bad things.

Going to see one tomorrow

SD1 engine/gearbox; capri 3l live axle.

Best avoided or ....?

FWIW I remember it getting good reviews in the magazines.

One thing to remember is it was well developed when Dax took it on - it came from Germany and I think had already passed TUV. It was called the Mohr 7 I think.

I guess you mean this one......looks OK for the money (good newer ones go for about double that)

I Built a V8 rush (1997 vintage) but mine was IRS with a 3500 Injection Rover V8. Great car and surprisingly affordable at the moment.

MY Rush.......sold it 3 years ago.....(currently building another Rush....)

The live axle and those wheels will keep you on your toes but a swap to an LSD (if it has an open diff) and better wheels (daxes should have wide rims!) & stickier tyres will help.

Where abouts are you in SW Herts?

Ash.
