Do bad things happen in Three

Bad thing one - Saturday drive - Decklid flies off at speed. Big scrape to La Bala rear. Pride hurt too.

Bad thing two - I didn't mention this earlier, but on that same run I forgot to tighten the radiator cap and all the water boiled out and the engine overheated (no permanent damage luckily as I made it home before anything melted, but I had neglected to set the alarm led on the digidash for hi-temps. Now I'm feeling like a complete moron....

Bad #3 - Sunday morning I was working on the bathroom remodel. Payment to the missus for letting me work on the car all the time. During demolition I was cutting some adhesive caulk with a utility knife in my left hand whilst holding the board with my right.

The knife slipped and went straight into my wrist! I missed suiciding myself by less than 1 mm, the knife blade went in at an angle all the way to the holder and it knicked the tendon of my 'mouse-click' finger. Index finger. I managed to get to the urgent care center where they proceeded to marvel at how lucky I was to not have severed the artery nor sliced the tendons in 1/2....

A bunch of stitches later - Now my hand is in a restraining cast to let the tendon heal. And I am a hunt and pecker typist with my right hand. I work on computers for a living...

So that's 3 bad things in a row. That's it right?

Aha! Good old DIY related injuries. Used to keep me busy in Casualty....

Prize for stupid DIY accident of all time went to the person using a cutting disc in an angle grinder to cut a bit of metal he was holding in the other hand. Doh. Disc caught on something, grinder went shooting sideways into wrist.... You can imagine the rest.

Whole load of claret everywhere.... Took ages to put back together!!!

I'm pretty stupid, but thank God I'm not THAT stupid. I always wear a glove when I'm hand holding a piece of steel that I'm cutting with an angle grinder....

j/k! -

Monday am - bloke in a Merc decided to ram the back of me in my GTi (insurnace still not sorted)
Monday evening - my 360 decided to die (altho seems to be ok now)

The damage:

Amazing it was not worse considering the speed and the road surface - asphalt.

Why don't you have "Sven" fix the damage, he's not doing anything. For those of you who don't know, "Sven" is a persona invented by Steve himself.

Steve, your car is kick-ass - it no longer needs support from fictious posters here. Really.

(Yes, it bugs me that Sven ever existed. If a product is good, it doesn't need this sort of invented support. Let it stand on its own.)

Huh?

Sven is Steve Carter who lives in Chandler, Arizona. He is building a Locost and as far as I know we are not related.

I know my products stand up on its own and I am not the type to invent other personalities. That's just wacky.

Bet you needed a clean pair of undies after that! Scarily similar to Bruce's crash at Goodwood.

Isn't this the point when Kurt should say something along the lines of "Whoops, Sorry"

True or Not true. An accusation like that doesn't belong in the open forum.
