Hey,
Go to Photo Archive at top of page,
find your username,
then click 'choose' and find the pic you want to add,
add a description and you're done!

oh, and you'll probably find they take an age to load and are huge when you click on them via the site.
If so then I use PIXresizer to reduce their size (do a google search)
hope that all works!

As described, first upload a suitable sized picture into you personal photo archive on the site. Suggest 150 pixels wide as a maximum.
The go to the control panel and edit your profile.
put the following into your avatar field...
http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/upload/*********.jpg
...and replace the ********* with the filename of your picture
