Its a dohc engine. Do you want one for your MGBGT?

why the ducting across the top of the engine when it's had the vast majority of the airbox cut away?
was common sense in short supply that day?
it's definitely an unconventional engine choice

it's a 2.0 ford dohc; snot a zetec so could be sierra dohc? ford box too.
interesting alternator tensioner bracket idea.
it's supposed to be a derubberbumpered B and lowered but looks high to me.

I'm not keen on that as an engine swap! If you're going to take the B engine out you've gotta replace it with something
categorically better and hopefully something that still looks good in there, the standard engines are such a tidy install it's a shame to cram a
dirty geat mess in there! If it's not a V8 conversion it's gotta be something mental like a rotary or 4age.
At least it's a more recent RB version that's been chromed and hacked.
NB this is just my personal taste, and to be fair if I had a more powerful engine lying around I'd probably drop it in whether it looked a mess
or not, just wouldn't let anyone see under the bonnet!!

is that alternator in the standard position?
there looks to be bugger all contact between the belt and that middle pulley..........is it the water pump?
i'd be a little concerned if it was anything mission critical

Only one thing that should be in a MGB and that's a V8

The K series fits well in a sprite/midget with a type 9 gearbox.
