it lives!

after many hours of looking at diagrams, soldering, frustration and coming close to dropping a match in the petrol tank....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbLnDQo9OYo

its v rough as the ecu need to learn its map, it needs a remap because of the different exhaust and it has no airbox so it doesn't know what air is going into the engine.

after a few mins....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEjgAQdjcXI

woop woop woop woop!

looked a new loom just incase, $450 plus tax, shipping etc.

vid doesn't do it justice, it sounds bloody amazing and at 3.5k rpm its pretty loud, at 13k its going to be crazy

This is quite false, the engine doesn't remap itself. This could only be the case if you had labda connected. And if you had the range it could adapt the mixture is limited (to cope with a false labda signal)

Tks

true it wouldn't learn, but without the airbox on, the airflow sensor wouldn't be used. that could be something. i don't know bike engines though so probably wrong

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
