Opel Kadett C Opinions?
Slight bit of effort involved in this one peeps, as there is so many variations of what people do to them I didn't post any pictures, so a quick
google images search for 'Kadett C' (1973 - 1979) will bring up enough to form an opinion on.
Hatchback aside, which one do you prefer?
Either a 2 door saloon or a coupe, used for a stripped out fast road/sprint/hill-climby type car

A friend of mine had the fastback version and he later had an Ascona, both good cars at the time
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I had a hatchback for a while, it was a cracking little car, so much better than the Vauxhall shove-it i had before the kadett.
i always fancied doing a similar thing with the viva HB which i have always loved, my first car was an HB.

I used to rally a coupe with a crossflow in it - the most fun you can have in a car!!
With the benefit of hindsight, the crossflow was not a good idea, should have gone Manta GT/E engine. (XE's were too new back then!)

Coupe, just for the looks...
The technic is the same. Try to find a automatic one or a 1600 cc or higher.
This is you have a bigger tunnel.
Then find a getrag 5 from a 1800 OHC manta.
A drive-shaft from a ascona-B automatic.
A 20XE engine
Then you have a bomb!
This is mine. 2.0E OHV:
GT/E

Some nice looking examples there chaps!
How rare are they, both saloon and coupe, and are they likely to become more so in a few years/appreciate? (please don't post up links to ones
for sale....U2U me instead! )
