Intercooler sizes???

I'm after a small intercooler, any idea what cars i should be looking at in a scrappy?? I got the ideal size off of ebay (a custom pace jobby) but apparently it got 'lost' in the post
The smallest one i've found so far is off a astra turbo diesel-but been looking for a smartcar one ?? any idea's lads??









If it doesn't fit MODIFY it!!

If you want a small intercooler you typically want to look for small engined turbo cars like the Fiat Uno turbo, or Toyota starlet turbo. The standard intercooler on the S14 200sx is quite small too. The main problem with 2nd hand intercoolers is the condition of them, as due to their location they get heavily weathered, and hit with stones

I've used a couple of Ren 5GT Turbo ones.



Note that they are entry and exit one end, and plastic capped which may need strapping if high boost anticipated.

I ended up getting one off of a RS turbo in very good condition not bad for £20









If it doesn't fit MODIFY it!!
