door panel sealant stuff.

Hi guys,
does any one know what the sealant used in tintop doors is called. They use it to stick the poythene to the door. Its horrible stuff than never sets.

Any ideas what its called and where to get some?

Cheers.

Butyl tape

The black sticky stuff similar to blue tak but a lot stronger.

Where to get it?

Well Ford sell 3mm Butyl tape for sealing the plenum chamber/pollen filter covers on the old Focus.

Imagine what it would be like if there were no hypothetical situations.
