WOW 92 mpg US (2.56 L/100km)
... until you read that:
The newest alé prototype in development is a series hybrid that will operate on electric power for most of its time on the road. Longer
commutes will be accomplished with a small on-board range extending generator. This combination of electricity and gas will give the alé good
range while only using small amounts of fuel.
hardly a fair representation of miles derived solely from a gallon of petrol (bearing in mind US gallons are smaller than UK ones)

Anyone remember trolley buses? Running on overhead tram wires for a while then when the trams went they stuck a diesel generator on the trolley bus
to make it self propelled.
how the world has changed.. very little.

yeah but why do all of these new fangled green cars have to look so hideous. Like the Honda thingy. Obviously im excluding lexus hybrid , but
generally i dont think much on the designs of these green machines.
Why cant someone come up with something that looks the dogs, that might make people sit up and take notice.
Im mean if it did 0-60 in 5 seconds or so, and looked as good as a porsche, then id have one (or build one for sure)
