Nearly a milestone
Well, three years to the day after towing the donor escort into the garage for dismantling I nearly got the recreation started on new years eve.
(home built chassis etc).
Bolted on all the ancillaries, down tesco for a few gallons of 4 star, Turned it over - nothing, a few back fires and that was it. Unfortunately, time
was getting on and I ran out of brownie points (she wouldnt have been too impressed if I had spent new years eve, evening in the garage).
It's a shame but hopefully it will be running this weekend - had to share this - been walking around with a smile all day

Done it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got it started this afternoon - bigggggg cheesy grin. Been up and down the drive a few times. Even got the wife sitting in the passenger side with no
seat.
Getting closer to the SVA.............
(the reason it didn't start last time was that I had the wrong distributor cap - although it fitted the HT lead take off's were in a
slightly different place)
