mk1 mk2 escort 1300 crossflow 1300 xflow

hi all, im looking for a donor for my locost, i would like a mk 1 or 2 escort but would be grateful of a 1300 xflow engine (preferably gt) hubs,axle,dif etc etc. thanks

Sorry cant help with the engine and bits, but 5 separate posts with the same title in for days with a post count of 7 is only going to get you shot down in flames!

Just a bit of friendly advice no offence meant.

Putting one in the wanted section would probably be a good idea!

think you'll really struggle to find a mk1 or mk 2 these days any 'suitable' (read: rusty) mk1&2s will have been use already, and and good ones will be kept as classics.

I'd love a mk1

As i've said in your other posts - try the wanted section. I'll even respond with i've got a mk2 axle, 3.54 ratio in good condition. Was for my locost until i decide to go to de-dion. Drove around for a few months with the donor car (which i should never have scrapped) and it was fine, no whines slight oil drip from the nose. Done 60k miles.

P.S. How is your build coming on? Which of us is going to get to the SVA test first?? I'm trying to finish the wiring.
