Ford Type 9 gearbox

As title I have a type 9 for sale. It's in good condition I intended to use in my hillclimber, but opted to go the MX5 box route. Prior to making this decision I partially stripped the T9 to check for wear and internals all seem good. All gears select smoothly. Comes complete with gear lever, cast iron bell housing, rear Ford gearbox mount and most importantly the cluctch lever and release bearing

Collection from BD15 near Bingley West Yorks

Price £450

I sold one via on ebay using a courier and it was really easy and didn't cost much either so that might be a option? I made a small custom pallet and tie wrapped it down.

Thanks Mr Whippy, I'll bear that in mind - I did sell a similar box years ago which I shipped, or rather the purchaser shipped and I palletised and it went ok.

It might help with the sale if you added the ratios.

Not sure what the ratios are, but it is a standard 5 speed from a Sierra. I can only be sure it's not from a V6 (with longer 1st gear) as it has the short 1st motion shaft.
