What do yo guys think -

Should I Weld the SUMP Guard to the MK INDY CHASSIS or BOLT it ??

Humbug - 16/4/08 at 05:46 AM

What do Yes and No mean here? Are you asking whether to weld or bolt, or whether to have a sump guard or not?

Id bolt it. Easy removable should u need it off. Plus when u bend it when u hit a speed hump you can change it.

I voted yes and then read the thread
I vote bolt it on. If you then decide you want an engine change with a bigger sump, it will be much easier to change

Bolt it for sure.

I welded it togetjet and then bolted it to the chassis...

I agree about not welding, but how about clamping it on (instead of bolting), to avoid having to drill holes in the lower rails?

I vote for PU.

I say bolt on and voted no - which I think is correct for this option

Is the question - should it be welded to chassis? Y or N.

Bolt.

Perhaps prevention is better than cure though. i stiffened front shox and raised front end a touch - car been better since.

Can you raise engine a touch?
