No2 son has just passed his test at 25 (don't ask!). He's bought a 1.2 S reg Fiesta and is looking for insurance. So far the best he's
come up with is £700 for TPF&T with a £100 excess.
Anyone know a company who might offer a better rate?
Cheers, Pewe
Have you tried Privilege? A bit of an unusual risk and they tend to be good with that kind of thing?
I'm guessing that as he's gone for TPF&T he's probably not too bothered about claiming. How about upping the excess to say £500.
May help out a bit.
Add an older / female driver to the policy as a 2nd driver. Usually worth 10 - 15% off the premium (even for me at 36 now)!! I always add my father
for the discount myself.
Try Moneysupermarket.com if you havent already. Also try Fully Comp insurance as many companies dont offer TPF&T any more and it might even be
cheaper!!

Thanks guys - I'll let you know how he gets on. Cheers, Pewe
get onto one of the compare websites and just swap wee stupid bits about adding and removing things like cars in household and number of cars
available even job descripition changed it and lets face it 2 or 3 options might describe your job.
I been been doing mine and got it to drop by £60 from my broker and over £100 from my renewal price from same insurance company..
Directline been cheapest so far. I'm moving into OH's house soon and going from locked garage to driveway at hers dropped it the biggest I
would have thought the oppisite would happen.
