Just got the below email for one of my businesses.
I strongly suspect scam, and was wondering about having some fun, only thing is will it attarct a illicit response to bombard my email with more?

They are asking questions that are relevent to delivery and payment options so why the suspicion?
Surely if they have a genuine creditcard and it clears then you are protected by the creditcard company?
A quick call to th CC company would guarantee payment.
For now I would give them the benefit of the doubt and not be rude, offensive or mess them about.
Must be a scam... you could conceivably answer qus 1 and 2, but how could you give an all-in price for products he hasn't yet chosen????
I'm not spotting the scam element either... seems like 3 reasonable questions from a potential overseas buyer.
I've asked the same Q's from international sellers many a time!

my company sells fishing tackle, that is manufacturered in singapore.
why buy it from me!
If it is solely your business then your call to have some fun. If its not your company then maybe not such a good idea.
If its a scam its well worded. I deal with Asia and often they have a direct approach - none of the British fluffy stuff first!
Id be trying a simple reply first to test them but still leave door open in case its genuine - unless they are phishing for replies to send junk mail
to.
I get stuff like this too, people in the USA who are MD's of companies that don't appear to exist wanting to pay well over the odds on lab
equipment they could get much cheaper in the US due to the exchange rate. They were also willing to pay for very expensive shipping.
I usually string them along for awhile. Its fun asking for company letterhead paper with a purchase order and then getting their excuses as to why
they can't send me that.
The last guy had given me credit card info and everything but as soon as i asked for his companies web address or directory listing. saying i
couldn't find it anywhere he then went quiet.
Looks like a scam to me.
well I sent a nice response asking for his details and what he wants to buy, bearing in mind we have about 20,000 different items so i'll see what happens.
Definate scam.

If it is a scam, it is best not to respond. They want to know you got the message first and foremost, so they can see the system working. Don't give them that satisfaction.

I'm not n a position to comment on scam or not but at my work I deal with Asian support issues occasionally and the funny thing is they all seem
to have a European name the use when dealing with westerners, the latest person Ive been dealing with is called Agnes, it takes a large proportion of
my effort not to call them Senga but that's maybee a Scottish thng
