Looks like I have got to unsieze a sticky rear caliper on a friends mk4 astra estate.
Is there a quick and dirty way.
Seemed to remember on my audi I pushed them in and out a few times with a bit of wd and they have been fine for the last 30k miles.
I know in theorey they should be taken off stripped down, new seals etc but I wont have time.
Garage want £200 notes for new calipers and pads!

STRIP IT CLEAN THEM AND REBUILD
with a rebuild kit from ebay
OR GO AND GET ONE FOR £20 FROM A SCRAP YARD .
i know what 1 i would do lol
Lube them with brake fluid and work them in and out a few times, put a clamp on to squeeze them in and press the pedal to get them back out with the clamp loosened to stop them popping the piston out. If they don't leak after they should be alright.
If you can get hold of a hypodermic needle , just stick it through the dust seal and squirt some brake fluid in , then work the piston in and out as
suggested
Rear calipers chances of success aren't good --- just get a recon unit.
If you do try free it don't go near it with WD40
