H787 MNO drove it's last 5 miles today to get me home from work, then promptly died in a flood of backfires and niffy fuel from exhaust. 2 days before it was due for decomissioning via parts removal - its done it early to spite me!

seriusly tho, electrical fault on the engine harness which is intermittant, but is more "on" then "off" at the moment, so it's parked up awaiting stripping on my driveway.

am a bit ****ed at it, upset yes definately, gutted and annoyed - all these odd feelings you shouldn't associate with a car - the fact that i'm sat here crying cos of it just about sums up how i feel.

and yes, i have the locost to look forward to and the rewards from selling various bits of sierra, but still, after 19 monhs of ownership and 35000 miles later, it's the end for the old girl, clocking up a grand total of 81000 miles in its 13 year life.

it's worthies will live on in the locost.
