I did hear that the Ultima went round a good few months ago. Why it's not been on the programme is beyond me!

They can not have any one making a Kit Car in a shed beating Hyper (hicost) cars.

I you made £500,000 cars would you want TG allowing us kit car owners on!

I think the Ultima has beaten thier time by 5 seconds.
only 13 more seconds to match the Renault F1 car.

Duncan's TurboRush matched the top time for a while.
I'm sure there must be others.

Don't forget, production cars have to be made for good drivers as well as complete incompetent ones. Hence lardy airbag fill cars of today.

It wasn't put around the track by TG thats why it wasn't on the show. Clarkson has something against kits and especially ultima, it was alleged to be something to do with him being mates with Noble who's was supposed to be a bit ticked off ultima developed the car into something that competes with his cars.

TG were trying out their lawyers on ultima (claiming they ripped off the stig 'trademark' at one point.

2 Caterhams are on top gear as one of the guys that works for me went up for the show. He said there was a normal looking Caterham and a new ugly one????

This week we're talking about Top Gear Power Laps. Why? Well this week the TG team have at long last given the Caterham Superlight R500 a workout on their infamous test track.

They've had a caterham hanging in the background for the last series or two. There are loads of caterham parts hanging on a frame, Its supposed to look like a full sized airfix kit. You know, how they come when new.
